Guess what.........

....we had a little break through this week at therapy with Little Sista!!!!

HANNAH IS WALKING!!!!!!!

Well not all of the time, but as you can see, she is taking several steps all by herself.  She still prefers the security of holding our hands and has not initiated it on her on (yet), but she is walking. :)

Savannah

Mary Kathryn competed this weekend in Savannah.  We used this as an excuse to just get away for a few days and enjoy ourselves. :)

The competition was held at the Convention Center across from River Street.

 

Competition was fierce, but our girls rocked again!! :)

We had fun on River Street and at the City Market, but I would have to say that our favorite place by far was the Candy Shoppe.  We only went five times in a three day trip :)

It was a wonderful weekend and great time.  When all was said and done, we were pooped. ;)

Happy, Happy, Happy...........Happy

We've had lots of happy events going on lately.   I'm a little behind posting about them sooooo, I have decided to combine about three posts into one. :)

Rose City Invitational

 She had a little oopsy on her first event, but came back on the 2nd to score her first 9.125 of her career.

She helped her team win first place in level 2 at the meet!!!!!

We were able to celebrate Chinese New Year with a GREAT group of friends who have adopted our family into their circle ;)

The Great Snow Storm of 2014 ;)

Well, really it was more like the light dusting of snow 2014, but in Rebecca, GA.......we take what we can get. :)

We knew the "Winter weather" was coming so how did we prepare???

Spa Night ;)

Hannah didn't know what to think about the bubbles at first, but soon, just like every other female, she realized it was marvelous! 

We woke up this morning to a little bit of a disappointment, but headed out to enjoy.

We They ran around finding any little bit of accumulation to play in

and hit the jackpot on the trampoline :)

  

All in all it was a good Snow Day!

A-F-O-so fabulous!

We went on Friday and picked up Hannah's AFO's (ankle foot orthotics).  Hannah refers to them as her "boots", and they are O so fabulous on her. :) Mr. Jeff even hooked her up with some hearts on them.

So far, so good with them!  The only little bump we've had was an expected one..........finding shoes to go over those dog-gone things.

Converse won so we are sporting our "All Stars" with everything.  Even our Sunday dresses!

 

She is taking it all in stride

 and doing it all with that beautiful smile on her face :)

A Busy, but Fun Filled Week :)

On Sunday we headed out for Atlanta.  Hannah had a Dr.'s appointment bright and early Monday morning to get her casts taken off and pins out.  As you would expect, the Dr.'s visit wasn't exactly pleasant, but.....

they're off :)....we made it through it (whew)

We left the Dr.'s appt. and went to see the OT.  She made us some splints that Hannah is now sporting. :)

Monday was also MK's birthday and we were only about 5 miles from the American Girl store sooooooo

.....yep, you guessed it :)

Deacon was even excited ;)

When we rounded the corner and saw the store, there was a lot of squealing!  I even heard my sweet baby boy make the comment, "I'm so excited I can't even feel my legs" :) :) (love you Deacon)

We quickly found Isabelle (2014 Girl of the Year),

and it was a Happy, Happy birthday for Mary Kathryn!

When we left the AG store, we did find the Lego store for Deacon. :)

Fast forward to the end of the week, and on Friday morning Hannah got her AFO's (pics of those to come later).

That afternoon, we picked the kids up early from school and headed to Athens to watch the Gym Dogs!! We had a ball!  It was our first meet, but certainly won't be our last.  Hannah was up jumping and dancing the whole time, and every time I glanced over at MK she had the biggest smile on her face.  To top it all off they won.....GO DAWGS!

Wouldn't take anything for the life I am blessed with!!
