It reminded me a lot of the Mart in Atlanta.
Of course I had to buy some pearls for my girls........and me :)
It was really cool. You pick out the strand you want and you can have it made into whatever you want. We bought a nice strand and had MK and Hannah each a bracelet and earrings made. My hopes are that Hannah can maybe wear her's on her wedding day. :) (wouldn't that be cool)

We also went to a jade shop and bought a pendant.
(hey, might as well buy while we are here :) :)
I have to give a shout-out to my WONDERFUL husband, who was a good sport and even helped me shop!!!!
After shopping, we all napped. I know I post a lot of pics of Hannah sleeping, but I just couldn't resist this one. When she gets sleepy, she rubs her face and plays with her hair. This is how I found her......
sprawled out on the floor, dead to the world, with her hand still in her hair :)
It's times like this that I sit back still in amazement at what God has blessed us with. Today marks one week that our sweet Hannah has been with us. Thank you Lord, again, and again!!!!!
Tonight we just kinda walked around a few blocks here at the hotel checking things out. We got some McDonald's take out and chilled in the room.
This pic is for Mandy. Your friend still likes to go retro and eat me some chicken ;) And guess who else seems to love it.......yep, Ms Priss ate 4 chicken nugget all by herself!!!!

Glad Mickey D's was a hit with Hannah! She has the cutest expressions. Shopping looked like so much fun and I love the pearl idea! MK is going to be so excited! Sending love and prayers!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes... This seemed like a much better jewelry trip than the one I was telling you of. It did look like the mart.. I'll have o tell Carey's mom! Glad y'all had fun ad happy week anniversary;) at least you now know you can do some American take out with her:) ... Only a few more days! Love y'all!

DeleteShe is really about a 12 months....the 12-18 m that I brought fit too...just a little big in the waist, but she's not walking so it really doesn't matter that they are a little big and long :). She is not as tiny as I thought, but then when you think that she is too, she is small
DeleteK.. Thanks. That's what I thought but just wanted to make sure... She's def bigger than what we thought:) and with all this eating she's doing she'll catch up in no time... Especially when she gets some of our south ga food!
